Moss and Janice Carrig setup Calcutta aid in 2000 after returning from a trip to the city. They were deeply affected by the the inhumane conditions which the natives were subject to, the hunger visible all around them, the homelessness, the awful squalor, the lack of clothing, the prostitution of the young, this left them both with an indelible memory.
